Spoiler Alert: Obviously, an article about "The Walking Dead" finale will have spoilers about "The Walking Dead" finale. Don't continue reading if you don't want the details from this episode. You have been warned, so don't complain if you?scroll past this point!

After two shocking, jaw-dropping, no-one-is-safe episodes, "The Walking Dead" ended its second season with a heart-stopping and, in a word, stressful season finale. And oh, was the blood flowing. At every moment of the hour, it seemed like no one was truly safe.

Well, "TWD" boss did warn us that there would be "more bloodshed" in the finale. Just how much bloodshed did we get?

We got a whole heck of a lot!

Holy zombies! Twitter probably said it best when "TWD" fans claimed that the first ten minutes of the finale had more zombie action than the past two seasons of the show! That might be a slight exaggeration, but holy heck were there a lot of walkers to worry about during the escape from the farm.

Just within the first 20 minutes of the episode, two Hershel family members bite it by, well, getting bit. And then eaten. The zombie horde descends upon the farm in waves after waves of walkers. Everywhere you looked ... zombies! What's a group of survivors to do?

Run like heck, that's what! After lots of shooting, fires, close calls and more shooting, everyone hauled off the farm. Everyone got away but Jimmy and Patricia. Andrea is left behind, but still alive. Unfortunately, she's facing a horde of zombies by herself, and her ammunition is running low.

But when we catch up with her later, Andrea is saved from certain zombie death by a mysterious cloaked figure who, check this out, has chained up armless zombies with him/her. Bada--? Yes. Creepy? Definitely.

We also finally learned what Dr. Jenner whispered to Rick at the CDC: everyone is infected. It doesn't matter if you get bit or scratched by a zombie: if you die, you become a walker. Rick told the group, who became angry with him for keeping that secret from them. Rick continued his honesty party by admitting to Lori everything that went down with Shane. Understandably, she did not take it well.

At night, with everyone huddled around a fire trying to survive the evening, Rick snaps when Carol starts questioning his leadership. He yells at them to try and do better, that he killed Shane for them, and challenges them to go on without him and "see how far they get." The episode ends with Rick proclaiming: "This isn't a democracy anymore." And then we pan up and away from the group to find ... a fortress? A prison? A place for safety? The setting for season three? Whatever it is, it's real, real close to the group of survivors.

That's a wrap on "The Walking Dead" season two! What did you think of the finale? Will the whole group turn on Rick? Who or what saved Andrea? Tell us on our Facebook page!

What was the biggest surprise of the episode for you?
